Newsletter for Turmeric & Health Information January 2025

Updated: Jan 3

Hi everyone and Welcome to my January Newsletter.

AC Healthy Solutions December 2024 Newsletter | AC Healthy Solutions

Happy New Year. I hope that you had a lovely Christmas and are all ready to step into the New Year. January is a very busy time for me with all the extra holiday markets. But I do love the buzz and meeting new faces, so I hope that the weather plays nice and that I get to meet a lot of you as well. If you are out and about travelling, please do take care and safe travels. Don’t forget if you can’t get to a market, I can always post out your supplies even if you are in far flung places. I have sent turmeric out to some of the most remote places in the past, so as long as Australia Post delivers, so do I! 😊

I think that 2025 could bring lots of good changes in the Carroll household. Mike passed the first of his two flying exams and now only has his General Aviation exam to go. I’m sure he will be fine, he just needs to track down the examiner…Lexi is considering a career change and may even go on to do her PhD. Lots of things for her to think about so we will have to see where life takes her. The same is true for me. I have for some years now said that I would love to do a lap of Australia, selling my turmeric at markets as I go. If Mike gets a job here in Port Macquarie – fingers crossed – then I would be happy to leave him looking after the house whilst I go travelling. But I would like to get a larger van. I love my little HiAce, but if a van is where I am going to be living for the months to come, I really want something I can stand up in. So, watch this space and I will keep you all posted. 😊

Happy New Year from AC Healthy Solutions

Turmeric Can Help With Your New Year Resolutions

NewYear Resolutions | AC Healthy Solutions

In a previous newsletter I did an article was about how turmeric can help detox a fatty liver which means that we metabolise our food better and it doesn’t go straight to the fat cells. Detoxing the liver also helps in reducing your cholesterol levels. Now that doesn’t mean that you can continue to eat fatty foods and lose weight, but it does mean that if you cut back on sugars and refined carbohydrates, your liver will be able to deal with what you do eat more efficiently and that will help you lose weight more effectively.

Another way that turmeric can help you is with exercise – no it won’t do it for you – if only! – but, if you are pain free, then you are much more likely to be able to walk, run, swim, go to the gym etc. It also speeds muscle recovery. All of which will help you to burn calories, tone/build muscle and loose fat. Not only that but if you continue with your new regime, it becomes habit and will pay dividends by the end of the year.

I think it’s true to say that we all want to eat a bit more healthily and turmeric can help by refining our tastes. I know for myself, and I’ve had other customers say that now that they are taking the turmeric that they don’t want sweet sugary foods as much. That can only be a good thing. Do try some of the great recipes that I have been sending out, they will keep you on the right track.

Another major problem for many people is depression or anxiety, especially with what has been happening around us. Curcumin, found in turmeric, can modulate the level of neurotransmitters in the brain, this is similar to an anti-depressant drug which raises the level of neurotransmitters in the spaces between neurons within the brain. Interference with the transmission of dopamine can cause depression-related symptoms and curcumin has been shown to increase the transmission of dopamine, making it a reasonably effective assistant in overcoming depressive symptoms. The major advantage of using turmeric to help assist with treating depression is that there are no proven side effects of taking it.

One final achievement for a new year would be to get drug/chemical free. Health2all turmeric is a natural product; the turmeric used is organic with a 6% curcumin, all the other ingredients used to enhance the absorption of the curcumin, are natural high-quality ingredients. We don’t use any synthetic products, no fillers nor is our product irradiated; it is only steamed to ensure that the efficacy is maintained. By taking Health2all turmeric rather than pain killers, anti inflammatories, cholesterol reducing drugs etc – many of which have side effects, you will get away from all these chemicals and be kinder to your body. That’s got to be good for the “new you”. 😊
